2 pouches (2.6 oz) StarKist Tuna Creations®, Hickory Smoked



  • 2 pouches (2.6 oz.) StarKist Tuna Creations®, Hickory Smoked

    ½ cup shredded Colby-jack cheese blend

    1/8 cup thinly sliced green onions

    1-1/2 oz. cream cheese, softened

    ¼ roasted red pepper, cut into strips

    2 flour tortillas, burrito size (8 – 10 inches)


  1. In a small bowl, mix tuna, cream cheese, shredded cheese, pepper strips and sliced onions until blended.
  2. Spread tuna mixture on one tortilla shell, to the edges.  Top with the other tortilla shell.
  3. Spray a large skillet, lightly, with vegetable spray and heat over medium heat.  Add the tortilla and brown the shell in the skillet until golden brown, about 2 – 3 minutes on each side.
  4. Cut the shell into 8 wedges and serve.

This not only looks delicious, but it sounds easy to make. Tuna and easy . I love both of those words.

I love this recipe, even though I don't love tuna. I changed it to match what I had in the house and the diet I was on and it was super. I used fresh red pepper strips and only about 1/4 cup of cheese. I used low fat cream cheese. I heated the tuna and the peppers in the microwave for about 30 seconds before mixing and I put the whole mixture into one large whole wheat tortilla and folded it over.
