Prep Time:

Cook Time:

10 Mins

Other Serving Size

1 can (5oz.) StarKist Tuna

2 egg whites

1/4 cup uncooked plain oatmeal

1/8 cup chopped onion

1/4 cup mayonnaise

Garlic Powder as desired

Drain tuna.  Combine the tuna, oats, and whisked egg whites together. Stir in onion, mayo and garlic powder and then form into patties. Place the patties on a skillet and flip at half time as you would with a regular hamburger.

You can eat them with whatever you want but I suggest 2 pieces of whole wheat toast, lettuce, tomato and either tartar sauce or horseradish.

I tried making this once and they instantly became a household favorite. Great for summer and lazy days when you just want to throw something together. They’re also a tasty alternative to beef burgers. I myself am not always wanting to eat seafood but I myself enjoy these.

Had this on toasted wheat sandwish thins with romain lettuce and tomato, also added scallions to the mix and only used one egg white. It was absolutely delicious
